Applegate's

We were married in the Mt. Timpanogos Temple December 2005. Since then we have had many adventures: studying at Thammasat University in Bangkok, Thailand, visiting my family in the Dominican Republic, Kade was a Huntsman Scholar and traveled to Paris, Brussels, London, Washington D.C. and New york. We have a two year old little girl that keeps me busy. She is such a little diva princess. Both of us graduated from USU. Kade received a double Bachelor's in International Business and Economics. Amanda graduated in Sociology. Kade is now working towards an MBA at BYU.

Winter Wonderland

We have had a lot of snow here! Kade is standing on a huge mountain of snow that was plowed from our parking lot.

They have already knocked off the ice cycles a couple times and they keep growing longer than the time before. Kade and I like to go out on our balcany and knock off the ice cycles that grow over it.

Kade is standing by an ice cycle that fell off the building and stuck in the snow.

My New Stuff

Kade brought back the hat and scarf from Paris and you can't see but some brown earings from Brussels. (I also got a black and pink scarf too and on them is a picture of the Eifel Tower)

This is one of my new cute shirts from the Dillards sale mom told me about (Thanks mom).

My new necklace for Valentines! Kade is so good to me.

Kade's Europe Trip

Kade was accepted into program with Utah State this year that required him to take a course this semester about Europe then for two weeks in November they traveled to Paris, Brussels, and London. He had a lot of fun practicing his French he has been learning for years and seeing all the sights.

Fall Semester Adventures

We have had a lot of fun adventures this semester. We were really excited to have Sami here in Logan with us and help her adjust to college. We enjoyed spending labor day at bear lake, and took Sami floating down the river in the canyon which was very cold. We got our first pet, a ball python that we named Tasu after our favorite ride at six flags this summer. We have enjoyed getting to know our neighbors in Aggie Village. We gather for game nights, carving pumpkins and recently making gingerbread houses for the holidays. And of course we are still attending Utah State. Kade only has one more semester then he will have a bachelors in International Business and minor in French. He will be looking for a job for a year to allow me to finish my degree in Sociology. After we will be heading to Provo for Kade to get his MBA at BYU. We are nearing two years of marriage now and love life more than ever! Kade is looking forward to going to Washington D.C. and New York in the spring with the same program he went to Europe with. We are both excited to visit my family in the Dominican Republic this summer after Kade graduates.

Summer Vacation

Before school started we took a road trip to San Diego with Derrick and Lucy. We all enjoyed relaxing at the beach away from work. While there we were able to visit Rob and Andrea (uncle and aunt) and see our cousins. Amanda's favorite thing we did was going to six flags magic mountain and riding the roller coasters. We also had fun going to the zoo and balboa park. We all took advantage of eating at inn and out burger at least three times during the week. Hands down I think we all had fun shopping in Tijuana and finding good deals.
